▣ GAP CHECK results – Phase 4 ( ’07. 7. Model ) – CWT machined with the taper 3D model review for tight mesh BSM(7448-0002, 0009) happened in this time Regarding tight mesh BSM(7448-0002), it was suspected the interference at the bolt boss for the assembly of upper and lower housing. Actually there was the contact mark at the corner of the housing with the shafts. The corner round of bolt boss looks to make bigger than 3D model though it is proto casting. → It could be happened the interference considering proto casting tolerance, machining tolerance, assembly tolerance and shafts end play.
▣ GAP CHECK results – Phase 5 ( ’08. 3. Model ) : Review for P1 application model. P1 model looks likely to have more gap than proto, but HMC wants still to get the report for the MD review results through tolerance stack up considered tolerances and shaft end play if there is a chance to interfere. MD review for the tolerance stack up should be done based on arithmetic method, not statistical method, in order to see if there is no problem under the worst condition. → If there is potential problems expected, MD should redesign urgently and rework for P1 parts.
