  3. John 15 1-3 ‘I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

  4. Ps 80: 8 & 9 You transplanted a vine from Egypt;    you drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it,    and it took root and filled the land.

  7. Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: ‘“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbour as yourself.

  8. John 15 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

  14. John 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.

  15. A task What do friends or family members need to do to maintain a close healthy relationship? Think of a relationship that is important to you, your mother, your husband, your children and your bestie. What needs to happen to keep that friendship tight?
