The following chart displays student credit hours per FTE faculty, by college, for Fall 1997, 2005, and 2006. Fall 1997 and 2005 data are taken from the University Budget Support Notebook. Fall 2006 data are extracted from PeopleSoft UDSIS and HR modules. • The Office of Institutional Research and planning is currently developing a PeopleSoft-based version of the Budget Support Notebook. Fall 2006 data should be viewed as unaudited. The verification process and tools historically associated with the Budget Support Notebooks are currently in development in the PeopleSoft environment, and Fall 2007 data will be made available as soon as they can be verified and audited. • The Fall 2006 increase in SCH/FTE Faculty in the College of Marine Studies is the result of the transfer of the Department of Geology from the College of Arts and Sciences to Marine Studies.
