Nutrition Through the Seasons • One of the growing resources of the SNAP-Ed connection • Provides information on seasonality, nutrition, selection, storage, cooking, and growing of various fruits and vegetables. • Created a “Celery” page • Developed professional writing and technology skills
E-Bulletin • The e-Bulletin is growing resource that started with 234 on the mailing list in April 2013 to 993 in October 2013. • Currently the mailing list is 1507 • This bulletin includes a “state spotlight” of a SNAP-Ed Program making a difference • Researched and contacted several states for more information • Iowa was happy to participate • Developed professional communication skills
Nutrition Apps and Games • Massive growth in media usage of adults and children • Researched top apps and popular games • Created a list of resources • Developed professional writing and technology skills • Will be highlighted in e-Bulletin and sent to the LISTSERV
