Eco-Friendly • While not entirely Green, eco-friendly means the company you work for utilizes green and environmentally friendly policies. • It doesn’t necessarily mean you will be working in an organization directly impacting the environment .
Green • Green jobs involve working for organizations that focus primarily on the environment and clean energy and technology. • Most organizations in this field are non-profit, offer low wages/salaries, and require long work hours during the week
More Options • Sustainability • Involves working in a direct impact role within an eco-friendly company (i.e. “Office of Sustainability”) or working in a Green organization • Telecommuting • It is possible to work for organizations located in other areas of the country or world through telecommuting, web development, and even blogging which benefits both the employer and employee
