Squadron Job Description • Promote boating education to the public and to squadron members • Schedule ABC3, Advanced Courses and Seminars • Assign instructors to courses • Ensure that all Boating course instructors are certified and current • Recruit new instructors and proctors • Recognize instructors by submitting merit marks and Chapman Award Nominations
Remain current with courses, materials and USPS procedures • Maintain knowledge of federal and state requirements for boating safety • Coordinate with membership and member retention committees to recruit new members and retain current members • Submit required forms on time • Coordinate with Squadron Public Relations Officer • Attend District Conferences, Councils and Events
