2. December 2012 Dear 5th Grade Parents, We have been working on the layout for our graduating 5th graders’ Yearbook. This is a wonderful keepsake, which captures your child’s memories at PS 196! PHOTOGRAPHS - We need plenty of photographs for collages and a variety of layouts throughout the yearbook. Please take the time over the holiday break and go over all of your photographs and send in candid shots of your child and his/her friends at school throughout the years, class parties, school trips, from Kindergarten up to the present. Please start downloading photos as soon as possible, the last day to submit these photos is1/23/2013. BABY PICTURE - We need a baby picture, of your child, from when they were 1 years old or younger. See box below on how to upload pictures on to our yearbook website. Please submit these baby photos by the time the children return back from the break, January 2, 2013 STUDENT QUESTIONAIRE- (see following pages) - Please have your child fill out the attached questionnaire and return it to school, when they come back from the winter break on January 2, 2013. Parent Booster (Messages) – Boosters are a great way for families to congratulate your child and /or class of 2013 on their promotion to Middle School. Please return these sheets when the children return to school from winter break on January 2, 2013(see following pages for directions) We need your help! Here is how to submit photos :   • Go to: https://images.schoolannualonline.com/login   • If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 400145524 and password: PS196   • Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.   • Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.   • Click "Save Details".It's that easy! Submit your photos today! The last day to submit photos is 1/23/2013. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of the school year!The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book. At least 5 megapixels are best for these photo files. Most cell phones don’t have enough megapixels. 5. 5th Grade Senior Dues If you have not yet paid, please send in the $65.00 senior dues for your child. These dues will help us create a wonderful 64 page yearbook, a booster as congratulating your child, senior T-shirt, DVD photo montage, and special PS 196 graduation party and gift.Your child will receive all these things in June! We have and will continue to hold fundraisers to supplement the costs.
