If you are driving to the airport to pick up someone or drop someone off, then many airports allow you to drive straight up, and then drive away without paying any charges if you can leave quickly within a few minutes. But if you are in an airport which does not offer that facility, or if you are driving yourself to the airport before taking a flight somewhere, then you would need to use DFW parking.

The first is short term parking, where you would keep your car for a few hours, or maybe half a day at most. This is good for folks who have come to the airport to see of someone or receive someone, or for someone who is flying out for a day trip and would return in the evening. But any longer than that and you would need long term parking, which allows you to keep your car for several days or weeks. For peace of mind in short or long term parking, you must book you slot early, and not wait for the day of travel. You can easily book online, and some places also allow you to pay in advance.
