  1. Masurian legend- Kłobuk

  2. Once upon a time in Masurian forests lived Smętek.

  3. Smętek lived in a hole in an oak tree.

  4. His life was good, because he had his servant- Kłobuk.

  5. One day, Smętek found crying baby in the grass. It was a girl. He decided to take care of her,because he was afraid, that something wrong can meet her in the forest.

  6. Smętek ordered his servant to bring something to eat for little baby. Unfortunately, Kłobuk didn’t know what is good for such little baby and brought two eels.

  7. Scared Kłobuk was ordered again to look for some food. In the country side, on a farm he found a goat. He creeped to the goat and stole its milk.

  8. Smętek shouted at Kłobuk, because there wasn’t enough milk. Kłobuk changed into an old man and went to buy the goat from old Agata.

  9. Smętek and Kłobuk looked carefully after the little girl. They called her Kruszynka.

  10. Kruszynka was pretty and she had small birthmark over her eyebrow. Years passed on… The girl became a beautiful woman.

  11. Once upon a time Smętek was strolling in the forest, suddenly he noticed a boy, who was very similar to Kruszyna. He had an identical birthmark like Kruszyna.

  12. Smętek found out that the boy seen by him is a twin of Kruszyna. It turned out that the girl was kidnapped in her childhood.

  13. Smętek decided to give back Kruszyna to her real family. Her parents called her Bogna and tried to get used her to normal life. However, the girl doesn’t forget Smętek and the forest.
