  3. Big Idea Christian conduct is to be ruled by the peace of Christ for the greater good of those around us.

  5. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.

  6. John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

  7. Hebrews 2:14-15 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

  8. Hebrews 4:15 … who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

  9. 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
