  2. How to I argue against the claim? • I. Clearly state what the claim that you will be developing a rebuttal for. • II. State and explain fallacies of reasoning used in your opponent’s argument. • III. State and provide explanation for the invalidity or questionability of their evidence. • IV. Introduce a counter claim and provide evidence to support your counter claim.

  3. Each team will create and present a refutation of the documentary’s claim. • Each team must develop at least 3 minutes of material – may go to a six minute max. • Each team member must speak for a minute. • Make sure you provide clear transitions from speaker to speaker.
