Who was Boudicca? Boudicca was a queen of the Celtic tribe and the wife of Pokolio's, they ruled an island that was independent from Rome, and his will was to pass on the throne to his daughters.
Why did she rebel against the Romans? After her husband Pokolio's death, the Romans abused Boudicca and her daughters and asked them to pay for some taxes to remain on the island. Boudicca was really angry, so she joined an army called iceless.
What did Boudicca do? She took control of the island and fought the Roman Emperors causing them to almost lose the war, but a person who was fighting against Boudicca and he took control of the island. At the end Boudicca decided to commit suicide because she lost the battle.
When did this incident take place? This historical incident took place in 60 A.D.
Where did all this happen? This battle took place in Northern part of Wales in England.
