  3. Let’s look at some MORE vocabulary Verbal sentence- a complete word statement. Algebraic equation- A mathematical statement that says two expressions are equal. The sum of 3 more than x is 8. An EQUAtion must have an EQUAl sign. 2x+2 = 8
