History of MITA/NEMA Compensation Surveys • Imaging and Radiation Therapy (IRT) - Since 1987 • Patient Monitoring Equipment (PM) - Since 2002 • Policies & Procedures for IRT and PM • Medical IT – Since 2004 • Contracted to the Hay Group, since inception with exception of a year or two
Purpose • Why is MITA/NEMA collecting this data? There is no other survey specific to medical imaging and therapy systems • Base salary and bonus, and policies and procedures items • Who uses this data within the companies? HR, Compensation Mgr, Comp. Analysts
Administration • Member Committee & MITA Staff—recruiting, maintenance, contractor oversight • Funding by participating member companies • Outside of the MITA dues • MITA contracts the Hay Group for the survey administration, data collection, analysis, reporting • Contractor develops Custom Interactive Report Format for MITA

Contract with the Hay Group is due for renewal in Fall 2008 The Committee has evaluated competing bids in the past and repeatedly decided to remain with the Hay Group. Recently, Hay Designed a Custom Survey Report for MITA. The Committee believes that MITA is receiving very good value in the current arrangement The Committee recommends continue contracting with the Hay Group Future
