    2. OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER is a very high gain amplifier having very high input impedance (typically a few megohms) and low output impedance (less than 100 ohms).

OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER - integrated circuit consisting of many internal transistors, resistors, capacitors - in combination with external electric components can be: amplifier, summer, integrator, differentiator etc. - active device, requiring connection to an external power supply (usually 15 V) - output voltage and current can be much larger then the input ones
