  1. sll Runs 1-6 analysis • Requires special do-it-yourself modified B->Xsll skim for events with optimal PID selectors, otherwise have to wait until Summer 2009 • ~300000 batch jobs run at SLAC (Sep-Dec) • Primary skim over data, generic MC, signal MC • Secondary data skim with no lepton PID and tight deltaE, mES cuts in order to characterize directly from data the pion-as-lepton misid bkgd • Finished over holiday break • The changed momentum acceptance of the new lepton selectors necessitated re-training all event selection trees • Finished this week • Inputs, architecture, etc. previously shown

  2. NN and trees trained on R18 data did not optimally select events • table below shows ratio of best R18 BDT sensitivity to best R18 NN sensitivity for R22 data

  3. 24 retrained trees required • bb, udsc ; e, mu ; 2 m(l+l-) bins ; 3 mHad bins • http://babar-hn.slac.stanford.edu:5090/hn/aux/kflood/slltrees_r22/jun1608/sll_evtsel_r22.html • http://babar-hn.slac.stanford.edu:5090/hn/aux/kflood/slltrees_r22/jun1608/plots_jan0709/tree_output elec, m(ll)<m(J/psi), mHad<1.1
