Future … imagine a compelling, sustainable future … take action to bring it into being - sense the emerging future - have a meaningful purpose - be courageous and bold - develop your leadership - catalyse change - lead the way, hold the space - be yourself with skill & flexibility - be experimental Self Manage - be mindful, not mindless - from Ego to Eco - from Control to Partnership V U C A Internal External … make sense of it … see what’s going on - use heart and gut - step down the ladder of inference - manage regressions, mental models & traps - manage paradox & polarities - ask different questions - take multiple perspectives - see systems - be reflective and reflexive Present
