  2. Step 1 - Research (10 min) Read two of the articles in your folder on head injuries in football.

  3. Step 2 - Brainstorm (10 min) At this stage all solutions are viable - no criticism is allowed. Come up with as many ideas as possible.

  4. Step 3 - Develop a Prototype (20 min) Communicate your Ideas: Create a Sketch of a Helmet Show How your Design is Better May Also Make a Paper Helmet Model

  5. Step 4 - Evaluate your Prototype (5 min) Does your Helmet Design Lessen or Solve the Problem? How would you Test it?

  6. Step 6 -Redesign if Necessary How might you Improve your Design? Can you Improve your Testing Methods? How? Share your Design.
