Custom Developed Archival Asset Management System Allows more functionality, flexibility Less maintenance costs long term Own the source code Expanded redundancy and security Redundant firewalls, load balancers, server configurations Secure FTP for data uploads Expanded test environment for development Project Changes
Phase One to include: Public web interface Basic and Advanced searches Image viewing, downloading eCommerce Database Model Automated ingestion and processing of records Self describing Metadata XML deep storage Security roles Pilot to include Marriage records Chelan, Snohomish, Spokane Historic Census and Naturalization Records Scope of Project
Phase Two to include: Legislative Services Center Governor Locke’s Records Chelan County Clerk Secure web page for small batch upload Allows providing office to view confidential fields Increase user experience and functionality Scope of Project
Begun formal reporting in April Two QA reports to date Onsite Visit July 13th, No Major Risks Risks Identifies Backing up to Disk Array Tape Library has been ordered with expected install of Sept 15th Need to Conduct Proof of Concept Testing Extensive POC testing has been completed Development timeline for Grand Opening OSOS staff picking up workload, extensive testing along with development Quality Assurance
Extensive due diligence to minimize need for change Complete testing of network architecture, software installation Weekly Review Meetings with Microsoft, EDS and OSOS development team and executive staff Documented formalized change control process requiring review and sign-off Weekly review of potential risks and mitigation strategies Change Management
