  12. Details that you don’t need to know but your kids do! • Some IB Sciences are one year courses in 11th and 12th grade (Biology SL, Chemistry SL, Chemistry HL) and some are two year commitments (Biology HL, Physics SL). • You may only take two SL tests junior year. • HL tests can only be taken senior year. • If you take both the SL and the HL test in a course and are a full Diploma student, only the HL course may be used as one of the six Diploma courses.
