Head Start Grant Purpose To provide a child focused program and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low income families. Number of Head Start Students- 75 Head Start $163,560 100%- Salaries & benefits for two teachers and five instructional aides
Carl Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Grant Purpose To develop new or improve existing career and technology education, with the full participation of individuals who are members of special populations. Services-High School and Jr. High Carl Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Grant $17,490 - CTE Workshops, Supplemental Supplies & Technology, Software, Interest Inventory, CAD Software, Conference Fee
“NEW” Ed. Jobs Funds Purpose To provides money to district to save or create education jobs created in 2010-2011 school year. Jobs funded under this program include those that provide educational and related services for early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. Ed. Jobs Funds $298,477 100%- Salaries & benefits for Additional Band Director, Interventionist Prim. & Elem., Additional HS Counselor, and JH Elective Teacher.
Date Cycle 3, Year 1 Funds will be used next Fall to support the TAP Performance Awards. Total Amount of the Grant $37,428
