Motivated, on task and focused from start to finish of session No reminders about proper behavior Prepared for theory / chores No safety related issues Self-reliant, stays on task, completes tasks in a timely fashion Organized work area, Appropriate clean up Contributes toward teamwork Proper use and ethical care of equipment, materials, and plants Follows directions Does more than assigned share Demonstrates leadership or contributes toward peer coaching/training

No reminders about proper behavior Prepared for theory / chores No safety related issues Self-reliant, stays on task, completes tasks in a timely fashion Organized work area, Appropriate clean up Contributes toward teamwork Proper use and ethical care of equipment, materials, and livestock Follows directions Does more than assigned share

Behavior issue or Safety issue resulting in a disciplinary referral/action Unprepared – repeat offense Minor safety related issue – repeat offense Disciplinary action assigned concerning proper use and ethical care of equipment, materials, and plants Disciplinary action assigned concerning impeding other student’s progress Disciplinary action assigned concerning student’s being self-reliant, staying on task, completing tasks in a timely fashion and following directions

  7. Attitude/Work Ethic – Daily Grade Landscape Construction & Plant Technology 5-0 pts. Student work ethic is below expected levels due to behavioral and/or attendance issues. Students also receive grades of 5-0 based on % of days attended, excused absences as well as tardiness and early dismissals.

Knowledge Grade / Culminating ActivitiesLandscape Construction & Plant Technology60% of total grade Grade Equivalents: 90% - 100% A Student level of performance is at the highest level 80% - 89% B Student level of performance is well above the average level 70% - 79% C Student is at an average level of performance 60% - 69% D Student is well below average level of performance 0% - 59% F Student performance is unacceptable in career field *** IF A STUDENT EARNS A 69% OR BELOW FOR THEIR FINAL GRADE FOR THE YEAR THEY MAY BE DENIED ENTRY INTO THE SAME PROGRAM FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR
