Introduction • Sam Houston's State University’s Division of Student Services considers emergency preparation and response critical to the overall safety and success of the students, staff, and faculty of the university. • There are ten separate offices within the division which serve the university community. Each office has developed an emergency response plan that, should it ever needed to be activated, will help to ensure the safety of those students and staff members who reside in those areas. • The University has two overall emergency response plans and one quick reference emergency document that can be found at: http://www.shsu.edu/safety/documents/erpfinalcopy_000.pdf http://www.shsu.edu/safety/documents/epquickreference08final_000.pdf http://www.shsu.edu/administrative/policies/emergency_response/CIMSplan.pdf
