Vocabulary Words • Culture – The totality of intellectual, artistic, social, and religious expressions that define a society or a group in comparison with another. • Claim for Rights- To ask for something considered a right. • Nation – A group of individuals with the same origins, territory, and language.
Vocabulary Words. • Agreement- an arrangement that is accepted by all groups and states. • Band - An Amerindian community recognized by the government and usually set up on a reserve. • Reserve – Lands the government has set aside for the use and benefit of Amerindians.
