  2. Gross description • Specimen received fresh (we hope) from Second Cup • Labeled as almond cookie • Unoriented

  3. Gross description • Specimen consists of a breast-like baked good with depressed nipple-like cherry filling • It was not weighed or measured (did not want to put food in the lab) • It was not inked (although dipping in coffee would have been good)

  4. Specimen was serially sectioned… using the breast dissection JGH technique

  5. Gross description • Specimen was submitted in toto for gastric processing in three residents labelled MJC, PF and BX • It was soft, chewy, pink, round and almond flavoured • Gross description only

  6. Diagnosis • Cookie, Second Cup purchase: • Almond flavoured breast-like cookie • Very yummy
