Sample Illustration Time of a Candle Burning • Purpose: How fast does a candle burn? • Hypothesis: If a candle is made of beeswax t then it will burn slow. • Experiment: Burn each candle for 5 minutes 3 times a day. Make sure there is no wind. Record observations • IV: Make-up of a candle • DV: height of the candle • Control: Parrafin Wax • Data Collection – make a table or chart • Data Analysis – make a graph • Conclusion – HYPO CORRECT?????
