  2. Task • Choose a program • Determine whether the program falls under relief, reform or recovery • Create a brochure which accurately describes your program and explains how it will help American citizens living during the Depression. • Use the Internet and textbook pg. 488-494 and 495-501

  3. Rubric • Correct identification of whether the program is relief, reform or recovery (5) • Correct explanation of program (20) • Date, category (relief, reform, recovery), goal • Correct explanation of how program will help American citizens (20) • How will the program be implemented? • Creative and attractive brochure (10) • Total = 55

  4. Choose one of the following New Deal Programs • First 100 Days • Agriculutral Adjustment Act (AAA) • Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) • Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) • Works Progress Administration (WPA) • National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA) • Glass-Steagall Banking Reform Act (FDIC)
