FORWARD REVERSE

  3. Scintillation Cube studies: • First Fe spectrum seen. • Photo-electron signals seen. • Absolute reference for photo-sensitivity. Spectralon Diffuse UV Reflector 241Am Semi-collimated SBD a-Trigger a 55Fe

  4. Bill Delivered on November 6 • Delivery was very smooth. • Additional delay due to source inside. • Once the detector arrived in the hall, installation to PHENIX was fast.

Ted Theodore Logan • Contaminants good: • < 13 ppm water. • ~3 pm oxygen. • HV applied to all 10 stacks: • 6 stacks perfect on 1st Voltage. • 3 stacks drew initial current but “burned”. • 1 stack has shorted strip • 4-North • 1/280 of active area. • After resistor swap sees cosmics • Ready 1st week December.
