  2. Scenario #1 After eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch earlier that day, your boyfriend/girlfriend kisses you. You suddenly break out in hives and skin rashes and eventually went into shock you are rushed to the hospital… ?

  3. Scenario #2 Like in the movie, Day After Tomorrow, when the young lady cut her leg on an unknown object and later suffered from complications due to infection, she desperately needed an antibacterial cleanser, like penicillin. What if she had been allergic to penicillin…?

  4. Our Solution A small chip containing relatively important medical information embedded under the skin on people’s writs. This chip is to be used in emergency situations to identify your allergies, a brief medical history, contact information, and other need-based information.

  5. Characteristics • Relatively the size of a grain of rice • Unnoticeable on the body • Voluntary • Read by a hand-held scanner • Contact Information • Brief medical history

  9. Software RFID: Radio Frequency Identification They are intelligent barcodes that can talk to a network system to inform your medical problems. It keeps track of need to know medical information for emergencies.

  10. Cost Total cost will include: • The RFID • The chip itself • Cost to implant This roughly sums up to about anywhere from $350-400

  11. How to Off Set the Cost Under certain circumstances, insurance companies will be required to cover some at risk people.

  12. Highly Recommended For: • Food and drug allergies • Diseases such as epilepsy and Alzheimer’s • Conditions such as anemia

  13. Medical ID bracelets- Charm bracelets worn with engraved charms of different health issues. Possibilities include cancer, food and drug allergies, and Alzheimer’s disease. License- notifies if the person is an organ donor Previous Options
