Summary • What is the goal? • Find how much end of test oil consumption has increased from some beginning of test, stabilized, oil consumption? • Find some measure of end of test oil consumption versus some measure of early test oil consumption that maximizes the difference between these two oils in these six tests? • If the former, the first chart indicates these six tests are inconclusive. • If the latter, the second chart indicates a few measures appear to work for these six tests. However, this analysis is incestuous. We should be suspicious about whether these measures would continue to provide separation with future tests especially with other oils.
