  2. Food They ate herds of grazing animals, including elk, deer, and bison (buffalo) they also ate wild rice. They hunted, fished, farmed and gathered wild rice and beans.

  3. Food They ate bison and wild rice. They also ate herds of grazing animals like elk, deer, antelope, and buffalo. They did hunt together and farmed to gather food for the tribe. Yes, they hunted and they farmed and gathered wild rice and beans.

  4. Shelter Sioux and the Cheyenne both lived in teepees, in earth, and in grass houses. Buffalo hide, sticks for a teepee. Mud for in the earth. Grass for grass houses. They lived in teppees because they were easy to cary and easy to put up while following the buffalo.

  5. Shelter • They lived in tepees and used buffalo hide to make blankets and for beds. There natural resources was buffalo hide wolf skins and other things like bark for there home.

  6. Clothing Sioux woman wore long deerskin or elk skin dresses. Sioux men wore breechcloth and leggings and buckskins shirts they also wore moccasins.

  7. Clothing They dressed with moccasins, mitts there was brestplates, and buck skin dresses, breechcloth and elk leggings, hairstyles.

  8. Interesting Fact • The capital of Wyoming is named after the Cheyenne tribe.

  9. Interaction With White Man They had a negative retaliation because they didn’t give what they promised and pushed them off there land.
