All About Me • I have been a teacher for nine years. I have taught 6th grade, 1st grade, 2nd grade and multi-aged. • I have my Reading Endorsement from Muskingum College. • I love to teach. This is my dream job.

Title I Reading • Title I Reading is a federally funded program provided to those children who show a need for additional reading instruction.
How did my child get selected? • Your child was selected from two or more academically related assessments. We take those test results and form a priority list based on their scores and classroom teacher recommendation.
Read. Read to your child. Talk about books. Make reading a positive experience. Listen. Teach strategies. Reread familiar books. Praise every milestone! What can Ido to help my child?
Reading Strategies-You don’t have to be a teacher to teach your child how to read! • Look at the pictures and look for clues. • Think about the story. • Go back and reread. • Skip the word, read on, then return. • Take a risk and make a guess.
