Where's Teddy Bear? By: Elli Tian
“Wahhhhhhhhhhhh!” Max wailed as he hopped in from the playroom. “Where’s Teddy? Where’s Teddy?” he shouted into his mom’s ear. “Calm down, Max,” his mom said, “Teddy Bear will show up. He always does. Why don’t you go ask Grandma? She just did the laundry; maybe Teddy was in the washing machine.” Max dried his tears quickly and ran out of the room. “He’s such a little baby,” his mom murmured as Max disappeared.
Max ran into the laundry room, to find Grandma Lilly folding one of his favorite shirts up. Still trying to keep his tears in, he asked in a soft voice, “Granny, have you seen Teddy Bear anywhere? Grandma replied, “No, why?” Max told Grandma the whole story, and Grandma laughed. “Did you look everywhere in the house?” Max burst into giggles. “No!” he exclaimed, and ran out of the room again.
Max hopped quickly into the study room. He glanced at the floor. No Teddy, but there was a piece of checkered cloth. He looked into the closet. No Teddy again, but there was a needle and thread. Finally, he looked at the desk. Still no Teddy! He gave up and ran to the kitchen. There was Teddy! He ran quickly to his mom and grandma, and started jumping up and down. “Yay!” he yelled, and Grandma said, “Good old Max.”
That's The End!
