Classroom English Small Group Speaking Activity Get into small groups of 5 students each. One student picks up a card and reads a sentence with a strange word. The other group members need to ask for the spelling, meaning, examples, Korean translation, and pronunciation. Practice asking ALL of the questions even if you already know the word!

Practice with a partner Say hi to your partner and ask how he/she is doing? Say something interesting or exciting! Say something sad or shocking. Tell a lie. Ask your partner a difficult question that he/she probably doesn’t know the answer to. Say thank you to your partner for doing something nice. Ask your partner a personal question. Say good-bye!
Homework Choose an English nickname and make a nametag. Bring it to class next time. Be sure to write down three activities you like. Choose three English words and write sentences in your notebook using each word. We will practice Classroom English again next time using your words.
