Definitions “Informatics is the scientific field that deals with biomedical information, data and knowledge - their storage, retrieval and optimal use for problem-solving and decision-making.” “Knowledge Management is the collection of processes that govern the creation, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge” “Information Technology is the use of hardware, software, services, and supporting infrastructure to manage and deliver information.”
