  2. Do check credit report regularly. • For the past years, an average of 66.67% Americans was traced to have not checked their credit reports.

  3. Don’t pay your credit card late. • Even if late payments are not reported to credit bureaus until a month of overdue, paying a bill late is never a good idea. You may prevent having overdue payments by, keeping track of unpaid utility bills.

  4. Do pay your income taxes on time. • If available in your state, paying your taxes online could be useful. You can save and print the challan copy and the receipt copy even if you do it online.

  5. Don’t blow off your parking tickets • And DON’Tforget topayyour library fines.

  6. Do validate errors on your credit report. • Inaccurate faults found on your account will definitely be a problem.

  7. Don’t open too many store credit cards. • Having a lot of accounts may lead you to forget an account with a tiny balance, which will certainly damage your credit score.
