Fun Facts • Once a cave drains of water, it ceases to grow and change • There are eyeless fish that live in some caves • It’s too dark for any eyes at all • Most cave animals are blind or live near the opening of the cave • Animals that live in caves are called troglobionts • Some caves are used to age wine and preserve cheeses
