Day 2 In a paragraph, describe how the author has tried to grab your attention (descriptions, problems, dialogue). Give an example of what the author has done and state whether or not it has worked.
Day 3 In a paragraph, make a prediction about your book. Be sure to include why you are making your prediction using specific events from the book.
Day 4 In a paragraph, describe how you know what time period your book takes place in. Make sure to include all relevant information that indicates the time period.
Day 5 Choose one character from the story and describe their behavior and what caused this behavior. Also, state whether you agree or disagree with their behavior and if you would have done anything differently.
Day 6 In a paragraph, describe if the author’s craft has changed. If their craft has changed, explain how and give an example. If it has not changed, explain if you are still captivated by the story.
Day 7 In a paragraph, give a summary of the book so far. Be sure to include specific events from the story.
