Time Zone • Both Koreas have the same time zone. KST (Korean Standard Time[+14 hours]). • So when its 12:00pm in NC, in the Koreas it is 2:00am. • You cant fly into North Korea.(No outside Travel) • From RDU to Seoul, South Korea it would take 14 hours and 45 minutes
Climate in the Koreas • North • The winters are bitterly cold and the summers are short, hot, and humid. • South • Climate can seem similar to New York. Since the winter and summer can see extreme differences in temperature which is similar to New York, geographically.
Temperature • North • Summer: High is 84 degrees, Low is 68 degrees • Winter: High is 26 degrees, Low is 8 degrees. • South • Average temperature near Seoul is 14 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall • North • North Korea has 38 inches of rainfall yearly. • South • Annual rainfall is from 25mm to 370mm each year.
