Target Audience- From ages 10-25. It is obvious that from the ad this is for people who have brought Vans before. The setting is a graffiti street it looks like a ally and has very cool graffiti to catch the eye. Vans The main font on this advert is a bold and bubble writing. They have chosen this font because its eye catching like all the white things in the ad This advert promotes a fun and active lifestyle because in the picture it is a stylish man wearing vans and wheeling a bike in a graffiti covered setting. The picture is made together by bright colours and not focusing on the shoe because the Vans makers assume target audience already knows what Vans are. The colours in this ad are very bright and colourful and it includes the main colours red, white and black also the bike and graffiti stand out. He is wearing very stylish clothes that people that would buy the shoe would wear e.g. snapback, also he's on a BMX which is associated with Vans.
Colour is very good in this ad because there are lots of different colour e.g. background, masthead, shoe colours and subtext are all colourful, the things that catch your eye the most are the blue shoe, the masthead and the green writing. The target audience is between ages 14- to any age because they come in sizes 9 upwards and are seen on many older celebrities and in there other ads. Desert Boots This shoe promotes a very stylish lifestyle as they look classy and even the masthead is “Live The Look With Roamers” which suggests that is a shoe that everyone wants and are good. The ad is put together very well because it has promotions for things that are going on publicly e.g. bottom right has something about the Olympics which is nationally massive at the moment it also says more colours and designs which means you will want to look more into the shoes. The font is plain until it gets to “Look” where it goes eye catching and red also when it gets to “Roamers” it change into a different font also its there logo as it has TM above it, its also the first thing you look at.
i am going to use the standard white Nike font (the one I used un the ad below) I have use the number 4 in THE and RAVE because there Air Max 4’s AIR MAX 1’S Its going to be set in NYC because it’s a busy city with a lot of sexy women also its very bright and its got very big buildings. That’s also where Rita Ora lives and theres a lot of big businesses for the promotion scene. The target audience is 14-18. The shoe size starts at size 5 so its mostly teenagers. Its suitable for going out and is good to wear with jeans and chinos. They are promoting a cool and sporty lifestyle. To attract this type of customer my advert will be a person wearing different shoes and not getting any girls then putting on these shoes and getting swarmed by girls and getting a promotion and loads of money and his life getting better this promotes the shoe by saying your life will get better if you buy the shoe. The models I am going to use are Rita Ora and Tulisa because they are both famous sexy celebrities. Freddie is going to be my male model because hes ugly and when he wears these shoes girls will like him even though hes ugly, this shows that the shoes can make anyone popular and good looking.
