  3. What is ENUM? • A protocol that maps telephone Numbers to Internet based addresses • It is represented in the form of: 1.7.9.e164.arpa Nic.ae E164.arpa

  4. Why is ENUM? • One Telephone Number will combine different contact details such as email, mobile number, website …etc. Nic.ae E164.arpa

  5. How to get ENUM Delegation • Obtain Government Authorization for running ENUM • Obtain ITU Delegation • RIPE NCC Configures country code in the Authoritative name server as being the root name server for ENUM Nic.ae E164.arpa

  6. ENUM Trial in UAE • ENUM is ready in UAE • Develop an application for mapping between a mobile number to an email address Nic.ae E164.arpa
