  2. Their Migration Patterns • Hummingbirds migrate in the Spring and Fall • During the Winter hummingbirds go to New Mexico, British Columbia and Costa Rica • They also can be found in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida

  3. The Life Cycle • Hummingbirds usually live their first year all the way through, but die after they are a little bit older. • If a hummingbird lives past a year there life span goes up dramatically.

  4. What They Eat A humming bird sucking out the nectar of the flower • Hummingbirds eat: • Insects • And A LOT of nectar

  5. The Different Types of Hummingbirds • There are a lot of different types of hummingbirds some types are the • Allen’s, • Anna’s • Berylline, • Black-Chinned, • Blue Throated, • Ruby-Throated and • The Rufous hummingbird.

  6. Hummingbird Habitats • Hummingbirds build nests in trees usually in the forest, streamside and brushy habitats
