First day in Athens My first day I will arrive at 5:30 PM on March 13, 2011 I will go to my suite on the Grande Bretagne Hotel which it has been in business for more than 140 years and it has won many awards. After that I will go to have dinner at the GB Roof Garden Restaurant which is located at the top of the Hotel and it has great views of the Acropolis, Syntagma Square and the ancient wonders of Athens. After dinner I will go to PLAKA MARKET, which is in the city's oldest neighborhood, and most of it has been relegated to foot traffic. It is often the favorite neighborhood for both locals and visitors, because it is one of the nicest. The Plaka market is full of merchants selling various items and keepsakes, especially on Sundays.
