Progress • Texturing • Tests including Dynamics, • nCloth, Tearable surfaces, • Sw particle rendering, glass shading and image distortion in Fusion. • Tracking the filmed material in Boujou and exporting the camera into maya.
The Humvee • We finally decided to go with active rigid bodys, keyed to be active at a certain frame. • Their Impulse values are then keyed to get the motion build-up before gravitation and turbulance sets in. • Some cluster animations are then added to wrinkle and tear the surface of the Humvee.
Radar (Helicopter POV) • We wanted a POV angle from the helicopter so we did some testing with a cg environment rendered in low resolution Occ. We then cc’d and distorted the scene in Fusion and added a simple polygon mask for the aim.
MS 2 • Our goal for MS 2 was to get the important scenes edited and put together into a previz. We felt that this was important just so that we could get a better feel for what has to be done these following weeks.
