Work and wellbeing • Work is good for us… does this mean any work or “good work”? • 24% of people with long-term mental health conditions are employed • <7% of people using secondary mental health services are in work • 90% of people who have used mental health services want to work • 38% of employers who say they would not employ someone with a mental illness • 95% of employers who have employed someone with a mental health condition do not regret doing so
