IsoGrid Axial Rib Designs Potential Benefits: • Acts as a local stiffener to optimize tube behavior under static/dynamic loading to help control “buckling” related failure in thin wall ultra-light designs. • The ability to create radical new “EI” profiles…with unique behavior. • Enhanced Damping over traditional Graphite Designs by allowing the use of alternate materials in “rib” sections.
