AUTOMOBILEDIVISION Tambros is the Distributor of Minda Impco Limited [A JV of Minda Industries Ltd. & Impco Inc., USA] & Channels CNG & LPG Kits and Components for complete automotive solutions all over India. We are the sole Distributors of Hella India Lighting Limited - Indian counterpart of Hella, Germany wherein We cater Govt organizations, several STU’s & replacement market.

ALTERNATIVE FUEL BUSINESS • Tambros showed its significant presence in the Alternative Fuel Business in 2001 when the Apex Court of India ordered for the conversion of all Diesel run modes of Public Transport to run on CNG mode in New Delhi, INDIA. • We also hold 100% share for CNG systems in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) , World’s Largest fleet of CNG Buses. • Tambros lead the conversion process and presently holds more than 70% share of converted buses running on Delhi roads.

  6. ALTERNATIVE FUEL BUSINESS • We also hold significant share for CNG systems in other cities of India as Mumbai, Vadodara, Pune to name a few. • We have Govt. Approved workshops in New Delhi which undertakes the conversion/ retro fitment processes of Cars, LCV’s & Buses. • We have highly skilled Engineers and Technicians to undertake the fitment process with excellence.

  7. CHANNELING NETWORK • We have a strong Dealer & Retrofitter network throughout the country to keep a control over the quality of the product and maintain effective After Sales Service. • This network includes all major cities where the drive of Alternative Fuels have begun.

SIGNIFICANT TASK • We introduced the process of “Third Party Inspection” of components that inspects the genuine components fitted. • We undertake the total maintenance of CNG system in 3141 DTC fleet of buses. This process includes the follow up of Maintenance Schedules, Replacement of components as per their Product Life Cycle, regular inspection of leakages in buses etc.

BUSINESS PROSPECTS IN INDIA • India being the second largest growing economy in the world shows great prospects and grown in the sector of Alternative fuels • All major cities in India have begun the drive of use of Alternative Fuels mainly CNG & LPG for Transportation. • Well connected supply lines of Natural Gas have been laid so as to meet the demand of fuel.

BUSINESS STRATEGIES TO ARGENTINE COMPANIES TO ENTER INDIAN MARKET • It becomes very crucial for Argentines Companies to arrange for awareness programs and bring out the advantages of their products. • Keep a strict quality control and supply genuine products. • The Pricing Strategies of the product should match with current cost of technologies prevailing in India.

CURRENT DEMAND • With implementation of Euro III norms in major cities of India, there still stands a great demand for Emission control systems, Lambda control systems,Electronic Ignition systems etc. • Argentine Cylinder Manufactures can gain large business since there are mainly only two manufacturer/supplier presently in India. • With proper pricing, Argentine CNG/LPG Kit manufacturers can capture share in Indian Market.

  15. CURRENT DEMAND • Apex court of India has recently identified Nine other polluted cities in India for CNG projects. These can be used as stepping stone for business development.

  17. ANALYTICAL DATA • 78,500 vehicles converted to CNG in Delhi including 8600 buses as on October 2005. • 71500+ vehicles converted to CNG in Mumbai (44,500 taxies, 22,000 Autos , 100+ BEST buses & 3500 buses and LCV’s ) • 42000 Autos & Taxis, 1260 buses &LCV’s in Gujarat. SOCIETY FOR ALTERNATIVE FUELS STAKEHOLDERS [SAFS] • We have also formed an All-India society which works for creation of a better tomorrow through the use of alternative fuels. • It aims to provide information and awareness regarding the Alternative fuels. • It coordinates with the Govt Agencies, Testing Agencies & Authorities with the common User and Retrofitters. • It provides and arrange for Training Programs / Technical know-how for the common Users / Initiators / Interested people and Agencies.
