(3.1) Old Testament Prophets Old Covenant: • a binding agreement between 2 parties with obligations. • One party would provide benefits / protection • One party would be loyal (keep obligations) • Law: Ex20 and Deut33
(3.2) Old Testament Prophets Covenant was enforced by: • Blessings/Benefits • Curses/ Punishments Prophets: Covenant Reinforcers • Comfort and/or Judgement • Same message / Different ways
