What is flooding? Flooding is were a creek, river, sea, etc. rises and overflows onto land that is usually dry.
What are the conditions? • Heavy rain • Melting of deep snow • Frozen ground
How long do floods last? • Floods can last up to weeks at a time it just depends on how much it rains or how much snow there is to melt
What time of year does floods occur? • Most happen in the spring because the snow is melting and it rains a lot in the spring.
What kind of damage can a flood do? • Floods can cause irreparable damage to houses, cars etc. • Floods can make houses calapse • I also can cause roads to tear apart
