Sponsored Program Services First steps to getting started in research: • Conflict of Interest: COI is a web form which now reflects new NIH requirements effective August 24, 2012. As defined by regulation, PI’s must complete training prior to engaging in funded research. (Video prompt) • Keywords: HR Employee Demographic Data (EDD) web form, keywords are required in PS to create a proposal • Mandatory Training Video: Basic Principles of Responsible Conduct in Research • PI Eligibility: flag has been set in the financial system • Third party system profiles will be set-up as needed such as Fastlane, eRA Commons, CAYUSE, etc.
